Actually in the mood for the Lunch
Let's be real, sometimes you're just there/present/around for one reason: the grub. Don't/Never/Try not to judge! It's a universal truth that a tasty dish/spread/plate of food can be the best/main/primary motivator for showing up anywhere. Whether it's a work gathering/event/function, a family occasion/celebration/get-together, or just a plain old day/time/moment, that promise of deliciousness can make/sweeten/seal the deal.
- Sometimes/Occasionally/Rarely it's about the company/atmosphere/vibe.
- Often/Frequently/Almost always it's all about that deliciousness/yum/tasty treat.
Who/Who/Let's be honest can blame/say no/resist a good lunch? It's the fuel that keeps/powers/drives us through life/the day/work.
{Game Day? More Like Nap Day|{Chill Day? More Like Snooze Fest|Couch Day? More Like Zzz Time
Okay, so, let's be real. Game night is basically just a fancy excuse to take a power nap. The hype starts way before the actual match even begins, and by kickoff, everyone's already in that pre-snooze state. I mean, have you ever seen someone more engaged than a human about to take a nap? It's like they can't wait the tension.
- It’s why I always pack my softest throw and maybe even a sleep cap. You never know when that sudden urge to catch some zzz’s is going to hit.
- Seriously even try to tell me you aren't fallen asleep during a game. We've all been there.
So, the next time someone says "Game {Day!Night!|Let’s Get Hype!!|It's On!" just smile and nod. Then, grab your snacks, find the coziest spot on the couch, and get ready for a long, wonderful nap.
Wearing This Is Like Wearing Jail
Every morning/day/time I wake up, I'm reminded of the bars/walls/boundaries that confine me. Putting on this uniform/Donning this dress code/Slipping into this mandatory attire feels like a sentence, a restriction/limitation/confinement on my freedom/ability to express myself/personality. It strips away/erases/conceals who I truly am and forces me into a mold/box/role that doesn't fit/suit/match me.
- It's not just the clothes, it's the feeling of being controlled/oppressed/dehumanized.
- We're not allowed/permitted/encouraged to be individuals/unique/ourselves when we have to wear this.
- This uniform is a symbol/reminder/constant of the lack of choice/powerlessness/restrictions we face every day.
I long for the day/When I can shed this/uniform/dress code/sentence and be free/myself/who I truly am.
School Pride? Never Heard Of Her
Ugh, the halls is the worst. I mean, who even minds about winning? All that stress over a match is just not my thing. I'd rather be {doing homework than cheering for some silly mascot. Let's be real, school should be about being social, not this whole phony pride thing.
- Look at all the pressure they put on us to belong. It's like they want us to be sheep
- Give me a world where being yourself is valued over empty traditions
This Backpack Outweighs My Passion
Seriously though, my backpack/bag/rucksack is packed solid/stuffed to the brim/bursting at the seams with books/papers/textbooks. I swear, it's heavier/weightier/more burdensome than my whole fandom/fan base/community combined. My friends/fellow fans/supporters are super chill/understanding/cool about it though, they know I'm always carrying/transporting/dragging around a mountain/ton/pile of schoolwork/assignments/reading. Maybe someday I'll get to leave it behind/ditch it/abandon it and just focus on being fangirl/enjoying the fandom/sharing my love, but for now, this burden/responsibility/weight is part of the journey.
- Maybe one day...
- It's all worth it though!/The fandom keeps me going!/My passion fuels this weight!
